The Public Association “Center for Analysis and Investigation in Sociology, Political Science, and Psychology – CIVIS” is a non-governmental research center, founded in March 1997 in the Republic of Moldova. Its studies are based on sociological methods. Additionally, the CIVIS Center conducts mass information and social mobilization campaigns. Most surveys developed by CIVIS use nationally representative, multi-stage, probability-based samples. CIVIS has also conducted surveys based on local and sector-specific samples.

The staff at CIVIS—comprising sociologists, political scientists, and psychologists—are specialists with extensive experience in interdisciplinary research. CIVIS maintains a network of over 250 well-trained field interviewers, covering all administrative-territorial units of the Republic of Moldova (excluding Transnistria). The Center is equipped with the technical infrastructure and technologies necessary to carry out complex sociological researches. Furthermore, we collaborate with expert consultants from various sectors to ensure the quality of the data collected and analyzed, fully meeting our clients’ requirements and expectations.

Center CIVIS uses a comprehensive accounting system in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.

CIVIS possesses the capability to operate within defined budgetary constraints while consistently delivering high-quality results. This expertise has been cultivated over approximately 30 years of operation, during which the organization has completed more than 500 research projects across various fields, averaging 30,000 quantitative interviews per year.
